Here's a prehacked firmware file to quickly try out a hack, for those of you who don't want to start messing with Ptool and all that jazz.

The hack is Cluster v6

Included is the completely stock firmware image as well, to return to normal.

1. Format an SD card in the gh2. (not on your computer!)

2. put the SD card in your computer, and drag the firmware file you want to the root of the SD card. (not in any folders!)

3. Put the card back in the gh2. Using a fully charged GENUINE PANASONIC battery, (NOT an ac adapter!), turn the camera on, and press the play button.

That's it! It will start updating the camera. It will feel scary, but don't worry , myself and tons of users have done it hundeds of times. Don't press any buttons or throw it off a roof while it updates. It should take about 60 seconds.

4. (important!) When it's done updating and the new firmware has been flashed, format the sd card once more using the camera, to rid it of the firmware file. Then go have fun.

If you want to return to stock firmware, simply do the above, dragging the firmware file from the stock folder to the sd card instead of the hacked version. Then update the same as above. That's it! As has been pointed out, doing this does NOT void your warranty. Simply make sure the stock firmware is loaded if you ever have to send the camera into Panasonic.

Have fun!
